Croatian Demonstration siteZagreb

The Croatian Demonstration activities are established in the central region of Croatia, specifically within the Zagreb area. The activities are aligned with and support the Europe’s mission to transform 100 cities into climate-neutral
and smart urban centres by 2030. The households involved in the demo represent a variety of occupancy and lifestyle characteristics and provide a comprehensive platform for validating digital services across different usage profiles, building on their prior experience with ICT energy services programs.

Demo site Description

The demonstrator brings to the project energy data of 82 diverse households located in continental parts of Croatia (gravitating towards Zagreb), collectively boasting a substantial installed solar capacity for self-consumption of 452 kWp. Also, data and insights from 2 commercial buildings in Križevci, with an additional 60 kWp of solar capacity, integrated battery and EV chargers, are available to support the project objectives.

  • From 82 Households (Prosumers) with Diverse construction typologies and devices installed, 20 Households equipped with smart meters will become part of the DIGITISE project and share their energy data, specific needs and expectations. As end-users they will get the opportunity to optimize their self-consumption and maximize energy savings, as well as learn about the options for additional market activities, such as energy sharing and flexibility, wheater as individuals or within energy communities.
